You're Not Alone
Acne is the most common skin condition, affecting 80 percent of people between the ages of 11 and 30. Besides the disfigurement and scarring that acne can cause, it also can make you feel self-conscious.

How Does Clindagel® Work?
Acne is caused by many factors, one of which is a bacteria called Propionibacterium acnes (P. acnes). P. acnes is highly susceptible to many antibiotics, but few antibiotics can easily access the sebaceous follicle (hair follicle) where the organism lives. Clindagel® (clindamycin phosphate gel) topical gel, 1% has shown an ability to do this effectively and safely, with little or no irritation.

Clindagel® is contraindicated in patients with a history of: hypersensitivity to clindamycin or lincomycin; regional enteritis or ulcerative colitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis. Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Diarrhea, bloody diarrhea and pseudomembranous colitis have been reported with topical clindamycin. Discontinuation is recommended if significant diarrhea develops.

Clindagel® Can Help
Clindagel® is the only clinically proven once daily water-based topical clindamycin to reduce the inflammation and blemishes caused by acne. Also, Clindagel® is a light, water-based gel that feels smooth on the skin and causes little to no irritation, redness or dryness.
